Dietitians' top high-protein weight-loss foods

"My favorite high-protein food for weight loss is peanut butter," says Business Insider registered dietitian Rebecca Stib.   

Start your day with nutritious eggs. "Eggs help you lose weight," registered dietician Jenn Fillenworth told BI.

Eggs are rich in vitamins and minerals and include 6 grams of high-quality protein with all essential amino acids.  

Add salmon to your diet. "One of my absolute favorite foods for weight loss is salmon," Fillenworth told BI.  

She clarified that eating healthy fat doesn't necessarily cause weight gain, even though salmon is fatty.
